Families will find a new splash pad, perfect for cooling off on hot days, along with a reinvented petting zoo where children can get up close to the animals safely and respectfully.
Designed as a place to relax and learn, the Family Zone is a great way for visitors to prolong their visit in a fun setting where learning and enjoyment go hand in hand.

The Arctic Tundra sector: Arctic foxes and snowy owls
In the Zoo’s Arctic Tundra sector, located at the head of the walking trail, visitors can now observe Arctic foxes in a new habitat crafted to meet these majestic animals’ behavioural and seasonal needs. The habitat is designed to resemble their natural environment with shaded areas, hills, and spaces that encourage exploration.
Catching sight of snowy owls is a cinch in the spacious new aviary, which opens this summer – a compelling example of the Zoo’s unflagging commitment to animal welfare and continuous improvement of the visitor experience.

Discovery Area: The world of reptiles revisited
The Zoo’s Discovery Area is also expanding this year, with an updated deep dive into the world of reptiles. In collaboration with Little Ray’s Nature Centers, new vivariums make it possible to observe species in environments suited to their biological and behavioural needs.
An educational program has been developed with Créo studio – experts in enriching interactive learning activities for children. With a completely redesigned décor, simplified interpretation, and the support of our team of naturalists, the zone will promote experimental learning, hands-on activities, and play – an unparalleled opportunity to understand reptiles, their special characteristics, and the attentive care they receive in captivity.

Website redesign
The Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Félicien is building a new website that will boost its appeal to local, national, and international visitors. Designed as a truly immersive showcase, the new platform will preview the unique experience the Zoo offers families, highlight the site’s main attractions, and give tourists all the information they need to plan a visit.
Simplified ergonomics, optimized content, and enhanced visuals combine to ease navigation and draw visitors to the destination. The site will be adapted to current digital standards and language conventions, making it a strategic tool to strengthen the organization’s positioning in the northern and family tourism sectors.
