A new UTMB World Series at Mont-Tremblant
Trail runners won’t want to miss the inaugural Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB event from August 14 to 16. As the only event in the UTMB World Series held east of the Canadian Rockies, the race promises an outstanding experience of personal achievement, Québec culture, and community involvement.
The program has something for everyone with four qualifying events for the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc (100 km, 50 km, and two 20 km races), an 80 km relay race for a good cause, a 5 km race, and a kid’s run.
The proposed routes traverse steep, technical terrain with plenty of rocks, roots, steep slopes, and dense boreal vegetation. In the August heat, runners can expect a thrilling challenge that combines the best of intense athleticism and local culture.

Ziptrek Ecotours: A new freefall jump
Starting May 15, adrenaline seekers can experience the unparalleled rush of freefalling above the Tremblant pedestrian village. After a short hike up the mountain, guests reach an observation platform 20 m (65 ft.) above the ground. A specially designed system that meets the most stringent safety standards allows for a controlled freefall descent of 3–5 m (10–15 ft.) – a surefire jolt to the senses.
This one-hour experience from Ziptrek Ecotours is a must for adventure travellers. It offers unobstructed views of the mountain and lake and a memorable adrenaline high. Visitors can also combine the freefall jump with the five zipline courses for a longer trip from the mountain’s summit to the base.
