Dreams of the Deep
In June, the Marine Environment Discovery Centre in Les Escoumins will be abuzz with Deep-Sea Reveries, a new immersive experience presented in a renovated multimedia room. The 20-minute activity takes visitors along for a dive into the teeming waters of the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park.
With original visuals and immersive special effects, this activity delves deep into the little-known underwater universe of vivid colours and shapes, in an atmosphere that makes learning and observation natural and exciting.
Deep-Sea Reveries is presented daily, in English and French. Pricing TBD.

Sea kayaking excursions
Starting in June 2026, the tour operator Du Fleuve is introducing guided sea-kayaking excursions. Throughout the summer season, these 3-hour intimate, immersive jaunts on the St. Lawrence River will enchant small groups. For a safe sea-kayaking experience, bilingual certified guides lead the outings, offering insightful interpretation of the natural surroundings.
This memorable river paddling expedition gives participants ample time to savour the sensation of gliding on the water, contemplate the landscape, listen to the sounds of the St. Lawrence, and enjoy the stunning beauty of the coastline.

Voile Mercator
This summer, Voile Mercator, a sailing cooperative, will offer sailing excursions for beginners departing from the town of Tadoussac. Designed as both a first sailing experience and an enriching addition to any stay, these outings are an opportunity to discover the St. Lawrence River and learn the basics of sailing while savouring a breathtaking nature experience.
This stretch of water boasts gorgeous scenery, between the river and the Saguenay Fjord, and is a popular spot for observing marine mammals.
Two options are available: a 3-hour (half-day) excursion and a 7-hour (full-day) excursion. It’s a memorable experience for couples, families, and groups of friends – up to seven passengers can sign on – for a lively personalized voyage of discovery.
