20th annual Grandes Fêtes TELUS
The Grandes Fêtes TELUS, a flagship summer festival for the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, will celebrate its 20th anniversary edition from July 30 to August 2, at Parc Beauséjour in Rimouski. The exciting programming of headliners on the Loto-Québec and Hydro-Québec stages will include Milky Chance, Timbaland, and Papa Roach, along with other popular Québec artists and themed evenings.
To mark this milestone, a larger-than-life anniversary night is in the works: La Grande Nuit des 20 ans will be held on Friday, July 31, on the Hydro-Québec stage. For the occasion, the riverside site will be transformed into a giant dance floor until 1 a.m. Visitors can look forwards to a festive Rimouski experience! Space is limited.

Four new hotels
The Bas-Saint-Laurent region will see major hotel growth with the announcement of four large projects slated to add a total of 268 new rooms – a significant increase in the region’s capacity.
A 60-room Quality Inn hotel will be built in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, while the Hôtel Rimouski is undertaking the biggest renovation in its history: an additional 66 rooms along with an expansion of its convention centre and meeting spaces from 20,000 to 30,000 sq. ft., and the development of the Salon de jeux Loto-Québec gaming hall.
A new 64-room hotel is also in the works, fitted with technological innovations and connected by an underground passage to the Hôtel Universel and its event venues. In Rivière-du-Loup, the Complexe Hôtel-de-Ville, a Mariott hotel, will have 78 rooms and 51 residential units.
All of these projects will enhance the region’s accommodation offerings and help make the Bas-Saint-Laurent region a destination of choice for conferences, events, and business travel.
